The Southeast Seattle Senior Foundation believes that community programs help solve problems, enrich lives, and offer opportunities to experience new things. Here we've listed just a few.
Transitional housing programs provide temporary housing and case management services to help homeless immigrants and refugees move into long-term housing within two years. Supported by the City of Seattle, United Way, and others, Muslim Housing Services serves more than 500 clients per year. The MHS office is located in The Brighton.
The Southeast Seattle Senior Center is a division of Senior Services of King County. Residents of The Brighton have convenient access to the Senior Center's services, located right next door. Senior Center membership is subsidized for all interested Brighton residents 50 years of age and older.
